Our Train the Trainer event was a huge success! This powerful session equipped teachers with innovative learning tools and strategies to better support their learners. 

A special thank you to everyone who came out to support, to our wonderful presenters who poured into our teachers, and to Dr. Phelecia Parks for spearheading such an impactful event.

Daughters of Faith

We recently kicked off our brand new Daughters of Faith ministry — and what an amazing start it was! So many girls showed up ready to learn, grow, and have fun. They enjoyed a powerful lesson and even created their own vision boards!

Recently, our Prayer Chain Ministry gathered for its Annual Prayer Breakfast—what a beautiful morning filled with fellowship, good food, and powerful intercessory prayer. Hearts were lifted, spirits were renewed, and God’s presence was felt in the room.

Back-to-School Free Haircuts

Children of all ages recently lined up at Galilee to receive free back-to-school haircuts.

Oftentimes, people’s hair can have a big impact on their confidence. Sometimes you have kids at school who don’t get that or don’t get a chance to go to a barbershop as often as they’d like for whatever reason, so it’s nice just to know that all the kids are going to start the new school year clean and groomed.

What a night! Our Back-to-School Pep Rally was filled with energy, encouragement, and community spirit! From uplifting moments to engaging activities, we came together to celebrate and prepare for an amazing school year ahead.

Back-to-School Fellowship at Galilee

What an amazing day filled with food, fun, and fellowship! From a stylish fashion show to free haircuts, nail pampering for our young ladies, snow cones, school supplies, and so much more, it was a beautiful way to bless our youth and kick off the new school year!

Our Junior Deacons had an amazing time on their fishing trip which was full of fun, laughter, and meaningful fellowship! 

It was more than just casting lines...it was about building brotherhood, growing in faith, and enjoying God's creation together.

Junior Deacon Ministry Outreach Update

Just giving you an update on our amazing Junior Deacons! Today, all of our Junior Deacons, along with about 12 dedicated sponsors, gathered at the church and prepared 300 sandwiches and 150 lunch bags for the homeless in Houston.

Each lunch included:

• Two turkey and cheese sandwiches

• A banana

• A honey bun

• A bag of chips

• A bottle of tea (Sponsored by: Savannah Rose Sweet Tea)

• Two bottles of water

They then traveled to downtown Housto

GMBC YOUTH OUTING - ROB FLEMING AQUATIC CENTER

Our GMBC Youth had a fantastic time at the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center! The day was filled with delicious food, meaningful fellowship, and plenty of fun.

The 2025 trip to Florida for our Junior Deacons was a success...with visits to Disney World, Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios.
